About Kathy

My training includes an M.S. in clinical mental health with a somatic emphasis and 2+years of study in the Hakomi method of Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychotherapy and Re-Creation of the Self through M.E.T.A (Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches).

As a lifelong learner, I draw upon a wide body of knowledge, education, self study, and many decades of life experience to meet you where you are and guide our work together. I continue to enjoy engaging in studies and trainings which feel relevant to accompanying and assisting my clients in meaningful work. Some areas of ongoing study include: the mind-body connection, emotional awareness and expression, regulation, parts work, trauma, anxiety, neurodiversity, chronic pain/illness, and spirituality.

I have trained with leaders in areas such as Trauma-Sensitive Movement, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy for Chronic Pain, and the integration of experiential approaches: IFS, AEDP, and Coherence Therapies.
